Editing Process: 05.03.13

Our group is at the point where we are at the point to include the new section into the editing process - in our first section. We aim to create a flashback film opening, where the forest section is the past and the police interview section is the present. We have cut out any unneccassary shots and are no left with shots we may want to include when creating a flashback for the forest scenes. In essence, the interview section will be added into the forest section, and the interview will be set in the present - but the forest scene representing a flashback of the real events. Critcally, in hindsight I would have liked to have captured Aidan in the forest scene so it does show with clarity to the audience that who is being interviewed, is in fact the offender.
In terms of editing or 'tweaking' the shots to finalize the sequence,  we have added a different effect onto all of the shots. Initially, we thought adding 'Black and White' onto the forest scenes did not represent the shots well. So, I decided that 'Bleach Bypass' represented the shots much better, which still had the black and white effect but included some very low contrast colour - like the forest scenary e.g. green growth from the tree.
